Summer 2011 is all about enhancing your natural beauty… and bold sexy lips. Think about your favorite childhood super heroines. Wonder Woman, Rogue, Super Woman all had a few things in common. Their skin was as smooth as porcelain and lips that could stop a villain in his tracks.

Since many people aren’t born with perfect skin, thankfully we have makeup to make your skin look nice and smooth. To make your dermis look its best, start with a proper skin care regimen. Make sure to wash and moisturize your face at least twice a day. For an even deeper clean, exfoliate your entire face, including your lips, at least once a week. Now it’s time to play with makeup!

Apply a light face primer to prolong your look and smooth any fine lines. I like to apply my foundation before the concealer. Though concealer is great for covering blemishes, sometimes full coverage foundation will cover your imperfections. Just dab a little concealer on top of your liquid or crème foundation, where ever it’s needed. To top it off, just powder your T-zone for a natural look.

Once your complexion is clear, it’s all about making those lips pop. For a perfect pout, lightly cover your lips with concealer to even out the tone. Use a lip liner the same color as your lip color to define or correct your lip shape. You can even make your lips a little fuller by lining slightly outside of the lips. Fill in your lips with the liner for deeper tone. Add your lip color with a lip brush for a really defined vamp look. Or use your fingertip for a subdued look.

Summer 2011 lip colors are all about the super sexy! Pinks are in from soft to bold. Reds are always beautiful and were hot on the runways this season. But there are a couple of things to keep in mind when wearing red lip color. Always choose the right red lipstick shade based on your skin complexion. The general recommendations are pale skin looks better with blue based reds. Medium-to-dark skins fare well with deeper reds, with brown or tawny bases. Whether you choose pink or red, matte or shimmer, just make sure that your lips give you super powers.

Fashion images that loomed larger than life – providing her the space to dream, to fantasize, and to wonder about various ways of transformations. That dream-like stage that allows anyone ‘ to become who they declare to be’ – is precisely the artist’s cornerstone to this collection.

Statement by artist:
“I’m not interested in presenting reality with my fashion photography. Rather, I want to take the viewer into a world of fantasy where the light is always flattering and the wardrobe is timelessly elegant. I want to live in a world of beauty and share this dream and make it accessible.
With this series of photographs I want that world to be transported into your home where you are seduced into creating your own fantasy.
